Natural sweet syrups

The most common and most popular syrup on the market is maple syrup. However organic stores dont limit their assortment to that. In recent years store shelves have been populated by: agave, rice, tapioca, date, blueberry, cranberry syrups. They're highly concentrated juices, consisting mainly of naturally occuring sugars in given plants. Thanks to a fruity aftertaste their sweetness is easily noticable, so you dont have to use much of it for sweetening. The syrups are highly respected, since they contain valuabe A, B, C, K, E vitamins and minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphor, manganese and zinc. They're also characterised by a high content of fibre and antioxidants. Fruit syrups contain many valuable health properties: they improve digestion, soothe intestine irritation, have an anti-diarrhea effect, improve muscle and nerve tissue functioning. They're recommended for urological, cholesterol and hypertension problems. They positively influence the nervous system and improve concentration. The syrups have a wide variety of uses in the kitchen, they're used for desserts, pancakes, omelettes and porridges.

Xylitol, natural brown sugar

Xylitol is a natural sweetener originally designated for diabetics. The main benefit of this sweetness is the fact that it raises blood sugar very slowly. Contains a 14-times lower glycemic index than regular white sugar. Xylitol is a valuable sweetener, since it shows antibacterial properties. Effectively helps with caries and gum inflammation. The latest developments in science show that it increases calcium absorbability. It's regarded as a substance improving bone mineralization and it's recommended for people indanger of osteopenia or osteoporosis. An often underestimated benefit of xylitol is the fact that it doesn't support the development of fungi and yeast, unlike regular sugar. Xylitol is used in the kitchen for sweetening drinks, baked goods and traditional dishes.

Erythritol, natural sugar alternative

Erythritol naturally occurs in fruits (melons, pears, grapes). It's sourced in the process of natural yeast fermentation. It looks similair to white sugar, but it's much less sweet. It's recommended for diabetics and children, since it has a lower glycemic index. Consuming erythritol doesn't destroy teeth or irritate intestines. Shows an antioxidant effect- cleanses the body from excess radicals. Erythritol doesn't change taste, thas why you can replace 100% of white sugar with it, in baking, cooking and sweetening hot and cold beveerages.
